The Brick’s contortion-causing short performance festival is tiny in more ways than one. Each of its two rotating programs features six pieces no more than 10 minutes long, all of which must be performed in a purpose-built 6’ by 6’ by 6’ cage made of PVC piping. For groups using sock puppets and, um, cakes, rather than actual actors this shouldn’t be too, too limiting, but what about the companies planning to do tiny ten-minute versions of Streetcar and The Importance of Being Earnest? We can’t wait to see.
