From his serialized work in Sassy magazine to the award-winning Gus Van Sant film adaptation of his novel Paranoid Park, Blake Nelson's teen and youth-centric works seem easily embraced by pop culture. The author will discuss his work, including his new novel Destroy All Cars, with journalist Katherine Lanpher. In keeping with the youthful theme of the evening, teen girl-group Care Bears on Fire will also perform.
