The V Spot began in Spring 2006 when Brooklyn Tech math teacher Danny Carabano decided to follow his dream to start his own business. Danny wanted to open a restaurant that honored his Latin heritage while remaining strictly vegan. As with most visions, much help was needed. His brother Alex provided both graphic design and creative food concepts, while his father constructed the interior and the patio. Our menu appeals to both vegans and non-vegans alike. Try our empanadas or gluten-free portabello tacos, and you'll soon realize that there's no sacrifice in leading a healthier and more compassionate lifestyle. You can also find our most popular dishes sold at health food stores throughout NYC. And now, The V Spot can come to you! Our pre-made vegan retail items are available through Fresh Direct! Buen provencho!
