The centerpiece of this Tribeca non-profit's 30th anniversary show is the titular 40-year-old video by John Baldessari, in which the artist struggles to maintain the illusion of film movement as he frantically rearranges a series of photographs of himself walking towards the camera. The nine other artists in curator Courtenay Finn's show stage similar slippages between past and future.
