For inhabitants of a city surrounded and crisscrossed by waterways, and with the second-best-tasting tap water in the country, New Yorkers don't spend much time thinking about water. The seven artists in this water-themed show have pondered the element at length: Mary Mattingly installs one of Arizona's increasingly numerous roadside water stations in the gallery; Aleksei Stevens plays audio recorded below the surface of the Gowanus Canal.
