Tireless excavators of forgotten plays, the Mint has unearthed Arnold Bennett's plenty topical 1909 comedy about a London newspaper mogul's many ethical mix-ups: with the subject of his affections, a not-so-great struggling actress; with his hometown readers outraged by his tabloids' sleaze; for his war-mongering false headlines, and so on. It's about Rupert Murdoch, basically.
