Is it fair to say that Woods' record is a little creepy? It is, right? Those psych-rock campfire songs leave you with an unsettled feeling, not to mention the dude's high-pitched, vocoded vocals and the floating eyeball motif on their album art. The thing is, no matter how bizarre they are, Woods are strangely enjoyable, nailing an idiosyncratic sound and feel that is solely theirs. Can't wait to find out what the Whitney's security guards think.
