Though based in New York, the Swiss-Danish duo of Ronnie Yarisal and Katja Kublitz is only now having its debut here with a massive kinetic installation in the high-ceilinged Kunsthalle Galapagos space. Burning candles cover the gallery floor, above which candlesnuffers hang from large black balloons filled with varying, slowly diminishing quantities of helium. It’s about birthday parties, their inevitable letdowns, and death.
