Street art in New York has seen better days, but that’s not to say we don’t benefit from the occasional burst in creative energy. There was the Public Ad Campaign‘s illegal billboard takeover in April, for instance, or Banksy’s giant rats. Last week two new additions to the city’s artsy streetscape debuted: Brazilian brotherly duo Os Gemeos unveiled their replacement (pictured) for the recreated Keith Haring mural at Bowery and Houston, and the India Street Mural Project opened in Greenpoint with works by Ali Aschman, Eve Biddle & Joshua Frankel, Joshua Abram Howard, Robert Seng, Skewville and Chris Soria (pictures after the jump).
