BEST CONCEPTUAL URBAN MINI-GOLF COURSE:
The Putting Lot
, 12 Wyckoff Ave.
On a previously vacant lot off the Jefferson L stop, a few overeducated, underemployed early-twentysomethings have secured the space, and (most of the) permits for a putt-putt, with each of the nine funky, mostly playable holes designed by local artists and architects, and incorporating ideas about sustainability. (It’s constructed out of mostly reclaimed materials, courtesy Build It Green, and stocked with putters and neon golf balls from a going-out-of-business course in British Columbia.) Does the Bushwick Country Club host seed bomb workshops?
