
Many feared (presumably) that last night’s closing performance of Avenue Q at Broadway’s John Golden Theatre after six years of delighting audiences with foul-mouthed muppets would mark the end of the show’s run in New York. This morning, news comes that the fuzzy comedians will merely be moving to a slightly smaller, Off-Broadway venue, the underground New World Stages complex on West 50th Street, where performances will resume on October 9.
