A Guide to Haiti Benefits Around NYC

There’s really no need to explain why you should consider going to one or two of these shows. There’s a wide range of artists performing to raise money for a wide range of organizations, with ticket prices to fit a wide range of wallets. Make Arcade Fire and George Clooney happy; check out the rundown after the jump, and by all means, let us know if we’re missing any.

Brooklyn Bowl: Robert Randolph & the Family Band with Friends. Doors at 8pm, tickets $25-$200.

City Winery: Patti Smith, The Swell Season, The Antlers, John Wesley Harding, Carolina Chocolate Drops, Yo La Tengo, Young People’s Chorus of NYC, Joshua Bell (and surprise guest), Tiempo Libre. 8:30pm, $75 general admission tickets SOLD OUT, “big-hearted donor tickets” still available.

City Winery: Brian Stokes Mitchell, Lewis Black, Vernon Reid & Corey Glover (of Living Colour), Rich Pagano & the Sugarcane Cups, Marshall Crenshaw, Willie Nile. 9pm, tickets $50.

City Winery: Rosanne Cash, Nada Surf, Tabou Combo, Madeleine Peyroux, BETTY. 8pm, tickets $50.

Southpaw: Rebel Tec, DJ Laylo, DJ Parler, DJ Kraff Swagger, TreZure the Empress, Martalicia, Wordspit w/ DJ Kraff Swagger, cast members from the Broadway musical FELA!. time tba, tickets $10.

City Winery: 15 Indie Artists: The Bongos, Amber Rubarth, Ian Axel, Vienna Teng, Wes Hutchinson, Ari Hest, Will Knox, Joey Ryan, Rosi Golan, Nate Campany, Martin Rivas, Dov Rosenblatt, Alex Berger, Greg Holden and Howie Statland from NYCSmoke. Plus, a house band featuring Kevin Rice, Chris Kuffner, Adam Christgau, Tony Maceli, Melissa Tong, Ward Williams and Marika Hughes. 8pm, tickets $20.

The Bell House: Jimmy Fallon, fun., The Walkmen, Ted Leo, Eugene Mirman, The Wrens, Michael Showalter, Sondre Lerche, Todd Barry, AC Newman/Rhett Miller/Nicole Atkins as a Seekers cover band, Here We Go Magic, The Wahoo Skiffle Crazies. Plus, New York State Senator Diane Savino, Pat Kiernan of NY1, free food courtesy of Great Jones Cafe and DUB Pies, raffles, door prizes, and a special edition of keyboard karaoke from 11pm-1am. Doors at 6pm, tickets $50.

Bruar Falls: Breakfast in Fur, No Eye Contact, El Medio, Drew Citron. Doors at 8pm, $5 with canned food donation, $6 without.

Comix: “I’m With Coco” comedy benefit/rally for Conan (rest assured, all proceeds go to Haiti, not O’Brien)
Todd Barry, Wyatt Cenac, John Mulaney, Will Sylvince, Anthony Jeselnik, Jeff Kreisler, writers from The Onion and more. Plus, raffles prizes, auction items and that sort of thing. 9:30pm, tickets $25.

The Trash Bar: Runny, Pioneers of Seduction, Glass Pipe, DJ Half Chemical. Doors at 9pm, tickets $6.
