As previously reported, the New Museum has traded Ugo Rondinone’s rainbow-toned “Hell, Yes!” (2001), which had adorned its facade since the Bowery building’s opening in December 2007, for Isa Genzken’s “Rose II” (2007), pictured during delivery on Saturday. The 28-feet-tall flower will be on view for exactly one year, through November 13, 2011. Botanists say it needs plentiful flash photography and Flickr tagging to thrive.
