These slim, colorful boxes enclose pouches of pre-made Indian food, which have no business being good. But somehow, the bright flavors rival our neighborhood take-out joints – especially the Punjab cholery, a chickpea stew that tastes great over rice and also makes a really delicious topping for a veggie burger.
I love the Indian Food as well. I remember reading a bit back that it’s made and packaged by the same company that sells the “Tasty Bite” line of foods in other Supermarkets. The Dorot frozen herbs isn’t a Trader Joe’s produced product though, I’ve been all about the Frozen Ginger cubes for ages.
indian recipes are really awesome..

That’s a great list! See my top ten list at: http://www.clubtraderjoes.com/2011/12/club…
is this an advertisement? seriously how much money did they pay you to write this? and if nothing, you stoopit
can’t believe you didnt mention the chocolate cake mix!?!?!
These were all good, but, unfortunately, Trader Joe’s has quit carrying the spicier items such as Dal Makhani. The milder stuff isn’t to my taste.
