2. L’Age D’or at Anthology Film Archives
Revisit The Golden Age of surrealist film in this 1930 experiment by Luis Bunuel and Salvador Dali (the same team who sliced eyeballs in Un Chien Andalou). It’s a rare opportunity to view the first full-length film of Bunuel’s on the big screen, which was banned in Spain at the time of its release and wasn’t shown in the United States until 1976 since its first screening at the Museum of Modern Art in 1933.
