Situated on the first floor of a small house in a quaint little seaside village called Vinegar Hill, “homey” is one word you could call Vinegar Hill House, but its serious chops in the kitchen belies its rustic facade.

Roberta’s is actually in Williamsburg.
Scalino deserves a mention.
Technically, Roberta’s is three short blocks from the northern boundary of Bushwick, but the boundary is a matter of convention — it’s unofficial — and everyone, including residents, think of the Bogart Street arts strip, which Roberta’s is on, as part of Bushwick.

What about BK Heights? Yea, most places are TERRIBLE, but there has been some progress worth noting the past couple years….Colonie? Jack the Horse? No love?
um, Vinegar Hill House is NOT in DUMBO. it’s in Vinegar Hill. For a publication that has their offices in DUMBO, I would expect this to be more accurate.
This list is ass, I can find better restaurants outside of Hipsterville (Williamsburg, DUMBO, Boreum Hill, Vingear Hill).
